LG in Birmingham !!!!

Hola People ,


Despues de patinar para publico español ahora volvemos a la realidad de competir fuera de casa , y esta vez viajamos para Inglaterra , y más exactamente a Birmingham , bonita ciudad si no fuese por que suele llover siempre ....

La competición se celebro en uno de los pabellones más grandes de la ciudad y la verdad es que el montaje era espectácular , como siempre ASA hizo de la competición un macro evento con conciertos , feria de muestras , minirampas , y la participación de Tony Hawk y Matt Hoffman en el evento.

Bueno despues de haber entrenado un par de trucos nuevos la verdad es que tenía muchas ganas de competir , hize unas preliminares muy tranquilas suficiente para clasificar pero sin arriesgar y guardando lo bueno para la final . En la final decidí que en la primera ronda no queria arriesgar nada de nada y guardar los truquitos nuevos para mi segunda y definitiva ronda, pero me asombré al ver que con mi primera ronda me habia clasificado 5º asi que todavia me convencí más del sistema que estaba utilizando , finalmente en mi segunda ronda arriesgue a tope y por mala suerte me caí en un fakie 1080 , aún y sabiendo que ya no servia de nada subí rapidamente las escaleras y lo repetí para quedarme tranquilo de saber que lo podría haber caido , y asi fue ,en el segundo intento caí el truco como si nada, bueno no obstante quedé con muy buen sabor de boca despues de haber patinado muy bien durante todo el fin de semana.

Roura y Eduardo montaron muy bien pero tampoco tuvieron demasiada fortuna con los jueces , pero fue un fin de semana divertido y aprendimos mucho sobre la ciudad de Birmingham.

Hi there ,


After to have some skate here in spain i gotta go to Birmingham to skate for the LG tour back again, This time to comp. looks good and we will skate in a really big hall with a big crowd.
The competition looks good and a lot of good skaters are there skating and killing the ramp, I cant wait to do my round because i have something on my mind that i would like to try on it. Saturday we did prelims and was funny i did not take risk at all and i just make some easy rounds to make sure that i will compete on finals. Next day on sunday we had the big day and we had to show all our skills , so i had on my mind to make my first line easy and the second one introduce some new tricks that i did not do on comps yet., So i did it like that with the scores of my first round i was 5th i had nothing else to lose for my second and last round so i decided to put in the middle of my round my new trick fackye 1080 but did not work and i felt ..... even knowing that did not count anymore i went up of the stairs and try it again just for show to myself that i could do it , and it worked i lend it easy and smooth so i know that next time will work !!!!
Was a funny weekend with my friends roura and edu and we learn a lot from birmingham.
